Classes & Intensives
Summer Intensives 2026
Summer with CSDA at our Junior and Senior Dance Intensives! Led by seasoned instructors Reagan Nieves, Haven Littleton and Mikaela Hutson, intensives are designed to help dancers build strong technique, explore new styles, make new friends and grow in confidence - all while having fun in a positive and encouraging environment!
Dancers will train in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary and musical theatre, working toward an exciting Summer Spotlight Showcase, a special performance that celebrates all they’ve learned. Dancers may enroll in one, two, or three weeks of training. To participate in the Summer Spotlight Showcase, dancers must attend Week 3 and at least one additional week of the intensive.

Help! Where Do I Buy My Dance Gear?
We hear you! There’s a plethora of dancewear out there, but how do you know you’re getting good quality or what’s best for your dancer? We typically recommend the following.
-
For Ballet or Jazz Slippers, choose leather over canvas! Canvas is a less resistant material. The leather does a better job of strengthening feet, which is really important when developing technique as a child.
-
We like convertible, mesh tights in theatrical pink These last longer and you can mend them if they snag. If your child prefers a different type of tight, no problem - we still recommend theatrical pink, and buying an extra pair in case of snags or rips.
-
Discount Dance is a website we often recommend for shopping dancewear. For little ones, Target occasionally has dancewear, and for local purchasing, Spell’s Dancewear in Nashville is nearest to our studio.
